Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and exploratory verification for embedded software features.
- Analyze requirements and architecture to create verification strategies, test cases, traceability, and verification documentation.
- Develop and maintain manual and automated verification solutions using Python, C#, or similar technologies.
- Create BDD scenarios and reusable automation assets to improve verification efficiency.
- Execute verification with HIL setups, simulators, engineering test stations, and laboratory environments.
- Configure verification environments, including device provisioning, firmware flashing, software installation, and engineering environment setup.
- Perform regression testing and re-validation after defect fixes.
- Debug and investigate software defects through log analysis and root cause analysis, documenting findings and collaborating on resolution.
- Contribute to CI/CD-based automated regression execution and verification process improvements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering and quality teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software verification or testing, including leading complex verification activities.
- Strong expertise in embedded verification, automation, debugging, and verification strategy.
- BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Python, C#, or similar technologies for verification automation.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive automation improvements.
