Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance and technical quality controls for avionics software deliverables in compliance with DO-178B/ED-12 objectives.
- Support avionics software development teams with processes, methods, and tools.
- Support EASA certification activities and perform internal reviews before external reviews.
- Review the consistency, completeness, accuracy, and conformity of software documents, source code, test files, certification records, and other lifecycle data.
- Maintain and update the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification and verify conformity of the Software Quality Assurance Plan.
- Perform root cause analysis for software anomalies and propose continuous process improvements.
- Verify configuration management of product lifecycle data and approve project documents in accordance with applicable plans and certification rules.
Requirements
- Experience in development and verification of critical real-time embedded software.
- Experience across software specification, architecture design, coding, testing, and integration.
- Experience applying DO-178 on a project.
- Experience with software development follow-up or management.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with development, quality, software management, methods, and certification teams.
- Commitment to compliance, integrity, and quality in safety-critical software development.
