Responsibilities
- Design feature-centric test plans and strategies.
- Analyze integrated systems and properly route issues for the application under test.
- Derive BDD features and scenarios from PRDs, epics, and user stories.
- Write optimized, industry-standard automation code in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Perform UI and REST API testing using standard automation libraries and frameworks.
- Use GitHub, code reviews, pull requests, and branching workflows.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a global team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of software testing experience for SaaS products.
- 4–6 years of test automation experience covering UI and API automation.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, BDD, Node.js, and UI testing.
- Exposure to at least one test framework: Jest, Mocha, Protractor, Jasmine, or Cucumber.
- Knowledge of at least one automation framework: Playwright or Puppeteer.
- Understanding of test framework design and separation of concerns.
- Experience with REST API testing and integrated systems.
- Mentoring experience with junior team members.
