Responsibilities
- Design and implement feature-centric test plans and strategies.
- Analyze integrated systems and properly identify and channelize application issues.
- Derive precise features and scenarios from PRDs, epics, and user stories using BDD concepts.
- Write optimized, industry-standard TypeScript automation code.
- Perform UI and REST API test automation for SaaS products.
- Use GitHub, code reviews, pull requests, and branching practices.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate within a global team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of software testing experience for SaaS products.
- 4–6 years of UI and API test automation experience using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with BDD, Node.js, UI testing, and a test framework.
- Exposure to one of Jest, Mocha, Protractor, Jasmine, or Cucumber.
- Knowledge of one automation framework, such as Playwright or Puppeteer.
- Mentoring experience with junior team members.
