Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks using Python and SQL.
- Integrate automated tests with GitHub Workflows and Jenkins for continuous testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application features and build comprehensive automation suites.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports while improving test coverage, traceability, and efficiency.
- Understand and contribute to the existing framework written in Spark and BDD.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test code quality and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in test automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including tools such as pytest, Great Expectations, and pandas.
- Ability to write complex SQL database queries.
- Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Workflows and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of BDD and TDD methodologies and experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and solve business problems.
- Knowledge of GCP BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, and DBT is a plus.
- Banking and finance domain knowledge is nice to have.
