Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
- Integrate security scanning, SBOM generation, image signing, and artifact promotion into build workflows.
- Automate deployments to Kubernetes environments using Helm and FluxCD.
- Support dependency management and open-source scanning with tools such as Renovate.
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and optimize CI/CD performance.
- Collaborate with security teams on RMF/ATO-aligned evidence collection from pipelines.
- Administer and maintain Linux-based systems supporting DevSecOps infrastructure.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices and tooling.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and a Secret-or-higher security clearance are required.
- Demonstrated experience with FluxCD and GitOps workflows.
- Strong CI/CD experience, particularly with GitLab CI.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Experience administering Linux systems.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker or Podman, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Preferred: 5+ years of DevSecOps engineering experience.
- Preferred: experience with RHEL and RHEL-based Linux distributions, the Coder Kubernetes-based development environment, Windows Server administration and automation, and supply chain security.
- Preferred: understanding of the DoD DevSecOps Reference Guide, DSOP factory pipelines, and RMF/ATO compliance requirements.
