Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze operating-system and application metrics for performance tuning and fault finding.
- Partner with development teams on system design, testing, release procedures, and scalable cloud-native architectures.
- Develop and maintain automation assets for the Service Delivery Global DevOps Platform.
- Automate management and deployment of platform infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Roll out automation in customer environments and provide troubleshooting during live-node activities.
- Provide primary operational support, lifecycle management, and engineering for platform systems and services.
- Improve platform reliability, quality, uptime, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience with Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Ansible, Puppet or Chef, Cloudflare, SonarQube, Docker, Artifactory, Ubuntu, RHEL, Kubernetes, Python, shell scripting, JSON, and YAML.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Expertise in DevOps pipeline orchestration and automation.
- Experience with software development, source-control, configuration-management, security and compliance, registry, artifact repository, operating-system, enterprise-environment, and monitoring tools.
- Ability to build automation using industry-standard tools to deploy hundreds of services.
- Knowledge of project management and methodologies; Scrum, Agile, and DevOps ways of working are preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and innovation skills.
- Academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are subject to verification.
