Base Salary

$85k - $105k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy AI agents that autonomously reason, plan, and execute multi-step business tasks.
  • Re-engineer manual and repetitive processes into reliable automated agentic workflows.
  • Orchestrate single-agent and multi-agent workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and AutoGen.
  • Integrate agents with internal tools, APIs, databases, enterprise systems, and the Model Context Protocol.
  • Implement retrieval-augmented generation pipelines using domain-specific data.
  • Apply prompt engineering, tool and function calling, and rigorous evaluation to improve agent reliability.
  • Deploy, monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve production agentic systems using MLOps and LLMOps practices.
  • Build responsible-AI guardrails covering safety, human oversight, transparency, and compliance.
  • Partner with the Senior Data Scientist and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in AI engineering, machine learning engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience building applications with large language models and foundation models.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, tool and function calling, Model Context Protocol, RAG, and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB.
  • Familiarity with Azure/Fabric, AWS, or GCP for scalable AI deployment.
  • Experience with MLOps/LLMOps, responsible AI, monitoring, governance, and compliance.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including API development, Git, and Docker.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with business and technical teams.
  • Preferred qualifications include a track record of automating repetitive workflows and experience in manufacturing and supply chain.
