Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Tekton for automated software builds and deployments.
- Coordinate software releases across multiple teams, dependencies, and the product roadmap.
- Build, maintain, and improve eBay’s Spring Boot framework for thousands of internal applications.
- Identify platform engineering problems and develop AI-powered tooling solutions.
- Build and maintain Docker images, conduct vulnerability scans, and manage image repositories and registries.
- Set up and maintain development, staging, and production environments while monitoring system performance.
- Patch images, handle sensitive data appropriately, maintain audit logs, and support security and compliance.
- Document platform processes and collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, SRE teams, and US-based counterparts.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Maven, Spring Boot, and version control systems such as Git.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Tekton.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technologies.
- Ability and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
