Responsibilities
- Chart the future of Cribl’s engineering tools, systems, and practices.
- Direct the evolution of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) metrics and processes.
- Understand and improve the engineering culture, tools, and practices.
- Engage with engineers to enhance the development experience and reduce friction.
- Strategize on integrating AI into the SDLC for clear business value.
- Identify risks and inefficiencies across the SDLC.
- Advocate for improvements in governance, security, and quality.
- Participate in on-call duties.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with enterprise-scale engineering environments.
- 5+ years in a Devtools, DevOps, or Engineering productivity role.
- Experience as a tech lead providing technical direction.
- Deep understanding of engineering best practices.
- Comfortable with autonomy and working in a distributed team.
- Passion for software quality and craft.
- Development experience with JavaScript, Node.js, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with SCM, SCA, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools.
