Base Salary

$184k - $357k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement highly available automation systems, developer tooling, and intelligent dashboards for DriveOS builds and releases.
  • Shape infrastructure roadmaps and consolidate tooling initiatives across a globally distributed organization.
  • Architect AI-native pipelines using LLM agents, RAG systems, and multi-agent orchestration for engineering workflows.
  • Build process-automation solutions aligned with ISO 26262, ISO 21434, and ISO 25010 expectations.
  • Develop data pipelines that aggregate telemetry and provide visualization and predictive quality metrics.
  • Evaluate and operationalize code-generation copilots, agentic coding assistants, and automated documentation tools.
  • Define governance for AI-assisted outputs, including traceability, auditability, and compliance in safety-certified processes.
  • Establish tooling architecture guidelines and coach engineers at all levels.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or software tooling.
  • Strong Python proficiency and understanding of tooling architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience managing enterprise-scale CI/CD environments such as GitLab CI or Jenkins and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience building production-grade full-stack systems with Python, Node.js, Go, GraphQL, relational and NoSQL datastores, Neo4j, React, Next.js, or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience deploying LLM and agentic applications, including agent frameworks, tool integration, MCP-based systems, memory, orchestration, prompt engineering, guardrails, evaluation, and RAG or GraphRAG architectures.
  • Experience building internal developer portals, AI-powered interfaces, and conversational user interfaces.
  • Strong SQL and data-warehousing skills for high-volume metrics.
  • Experience with distributed organizations, regulated industries, extensible tooling platforms, VS Code extensions, IDE plugins, CLI toolchains, or AI evaluation harnesses is preferred.
