Base Salary
$116k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of Geotab's data intake engine, ensuring reliability and performance at massive scale.
- Drive AI transformation across the engineering organization by introducing AI-assisted development methodologies.
- Proactively identify high-impact engineering problems and develop actionable plans.
- Partner with engineering managers and peer leads to shape technical strategy and guide cross-team initiatives.
- Influence and elevate a broad group of developers, steering impactful initiatives.
- Act as a technical bar raiser in hiring and code quality.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, predominantly on the Individual Contributor track.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET; Java or Golang backgrounds that translate well to C# are considered assets.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases at large scale.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
- Proven ability to influence large engineering teams and steer high-impact technical initiatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
