Senior Software Engineer (MacOS Endpoint)

Responsibilities
- Design and implement macOS system-sensor components that trace data movement across applications and files.
- Optimize software that monitors hundreds of thousands of events while minimizing impact on endpoint application performance.
- Build highly reliable code that does not negatively affect the end-user experience.
- Develop hardened, secure-by-design software that processes untrusted data and communicates with backend services over the internet.
- Contribute substantially to the product architecture as an early member of a rapidly evolving technology team.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing with Swift on macOS.
- Experience building system extensions using the Endpoint Security framework and Network Extensions.
- Prior experience developing at least one large native application deployed to tens of thousands of users.
- Experience debugging, profiling, and optimizing low-level system software with Instruments.
- Experience building endpoint security products such as DLP or EDR applications.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing application architecture.
- Experience with Agile development and Scrum.
- Ability to collaborate with a distributed, cross-functional engineering team.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Availability to communicate frequently with teams in Central European and US Eastern time zones.
- Must be located in Romania, India, or Poland.
