Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, train, validate, deploy, optimize, and operationalize AI and ML models.
- Design model deployment pipelines and MLOps workflows across cloud, edge, and hybrid environments.
- Implement monitoring frameworks for model drift, performance degradation, and operational issues.
- Integrate models with enterprise and mission systems and support secure, scalable infrastructure.
- Evaluate AI and ML frameworks and model architectures and guide feature engineering approaches.
- Support model fine-tuning, retraining cycles, model evaluation, and lifecycle strategy.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, cloud and network architects, and ISSE partners.
Requirements
- Experience with Python or Rust.
- Experience developing, training, validating, and deploying AI and ML models.
- Experience optimizing AI and ML models.
- Knowledge of computing, storage, and networking requirements for model training, tuning, and inference.
- Knowledge of model evaluation techniques.
- Ability to design model deployment pipelines and MLOps workflows.
- Ability to implement monitoring frameworks for model drift, performance degradation, and operational issues.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- HS diploma or GED with 6+ years of data science or AI/ML engineering experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of such experience.
- Preferred qualifications include distributed compute experience, mission-focused or national security experience, AI model architecture evaluation, secure AI engineering knowledge, adversarial robustness, model governance, NIST AI RMF, and a bachelor’s degree.
