Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, train, validate, deploy, optimize, and operationalize AI and ML models.
- Design and implement model deployment pipelines and MLOps workflows across cloud, edge, and hybrid environments.
- Integrate models with enterprise and mission systems using secure, scalable infrastructure and high-quality data pipelines.
- Implement monitoring frameworks for model drift, performance degradation, and operational issues.
- Guide feature engineering, model evaluation, fine-tuning, retraining, and model lifecycle strategy.
- Evaluate emerging AI and ML frameworks and architectures and provide technical direction for mission-critical solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with Python or Rust.
- Experience developing, training, validating, deploying, and optimizing AI and ML models.
- Knowledge of computing, storage, and networking requirements for model training, tuning, and inference.
- Knowledge of model evaluation techniques and ability to implement model deployment pipelines and MLOps workflows.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- High school diploma or GED plus 6+ years of data science or AI/ML engineering experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of such experience.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with distributed compute frameworks, mission-focused or national security environments, new AI model architectures, secure AI engineering practices, adversarial robustness, model governance, and NIST AI RMF; a bachelor’s degree is also preferred.
