Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant real-time data ingestion pipelines for high-volume infrastructure telemetry.
- Develop frontend visualizations, interactive dashboards, and UI components for operators, capacity planners, and engineering stakeholders.
- Design, build, and operate production systems spanning user interfaces, APIs, data pipelines, authentication, monitoring, alerting, and on-call operations.
- Build repair trackers, vendor RMA workflows, operational infrastructure, and integrations with ticketing, inventory, telemetry, and vendor systems.
- Automate cluster monitoring and improve anomaly detection accuracy while maintaining uptime, data integrity, reconciliation, access control, and safe deployments.
- Work directly with users and cross-functional teams to investigate operational problems and improve GPU uptime.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another STEM discipline and 3+ years of professional software development experience, or 5+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Programming experience in Python, Rust, C++, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience with Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, or similar database management systems.
- Ownership of correctness-sensitive systems such as state machines, workflows, or operational data with real-world impact.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience includes observability, telemetry, real-time analytics, time-series or analytical databases, streaming pipelines, dashboards, alerting, frontend development, multi-service mission-critical systems, cloud or on-premise operations, Docker, Kubernetes, automated deployments, internal platforms, HPC, supercomputing, industrial/OT data, and power or cooling telemetry.
- Master's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines and participate in a weeklong rotational on-call schedule.
