Responsibilities
- Build and operate software stacks for repair tracking, vendor turnback workflows, operational dashboards, and integrations.
- Design, build, and operate multi-service production systems covering user interfaces, APIs, data pipelines, authentication, and on-call operations.
- Maintain accurate operational state, queue ownership, and audit trails for data center work.
- Build and maintain integrations with ticketing, inventory and rack systems, telemetry stores, and vendor portals.
- Maintain uptime, data integrity, reconciliation, access control, and safe deployments.
- Work directly with SiteOps and NOC users and measure workflow adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience building and operating production software.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Rust, Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
- Experience designing and developing mission-critical APIs.
- Experience with a database such as Postgres, MongoDB, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or OCI.
- Experience using observability tools and dashboards such as New Relic, Splunk, or Grafana.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Preferred experience includes full-stack or backend and data development, workflow and state-machine systems, CI/CD deployment automation, operational UIs, on-call production support, multi-service systems, internal tools, correctness-sensitive systems, external API integrations, and collaboration with operations, NOC, and infrastructure teams.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes performance and load testing with tools such as BlazeMeter or k6.
- Candidates must be located near Memphis, TN or Southaven, MS, or be open to relocation.
