Responsibilities
- Build and operate software stacks including repair trackers, vendor turnback workflows, operational dashboards, and integrations.
- Design, build, and operate multi-service production systems spanning user interfaces, APIs, data pipelines, authentication, and on-call operations.
- Own the correctness of operational state, including node state accuracy, queue ownership, and audit trails.
- Build and maintain integrations with ticketing, inventory and rack systems, telemetry stores, and vendor portals.
- Maintain uptime, data integrity, reconciliation, access control, and safe deployments.
- Embed with SiteOps and NOC users and measure workflow adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience building and operating production software.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Rust, Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs for mission-critical applications.
- Experience with at least one database such as Postgres, MongoDB, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or OCI.
- Experience using observability tools and dashboards such as New Relic, Splunk, or Grafana.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Preferred experience with full-stack or backend and data systems, workflow and state-machine systems, deployment automation, operational user interfaces, multi-service systems, internal tools, correctness-sensitive systems, external API integrations, operations and infrastructure collaboration, and performance load testing.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
