Base Salary
$78k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain AI and machine learning models.
- Build production-grade software, APIs, and data services using Python, TypeScript, or Java.
- Develop and deploy AI-enabled applications involving LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Build secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms, including governed ingestion, file exchange, catalogs, metadata, and reusable data products.
- Design event-driven integrations and workflow automation, including asynchronous messaging and audit logging.
- Implement MLOps or DevSecOps practices such as automated testing, containerization, and model evaluation.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver Air Force mission solutions.
- Guide clients in applying agentic frameworks to mission-critical problems.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building production-grade software in Python, TypeScript, or Java with APIs and data services.
- Experience with AI-enabled applications such as LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Experience building and deploying secure data foundations on enterprise cloud platforms.
- Ability to design event-driven integrations and workflow automation.
- Ability to implement MLOps or DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, or model evaluation.
- Secret clearance is required; eligibility for access to classified information is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related stated field.
- Preferred experience with geospatial or 3D data, point clouds, LiDAR, photogrammetry, digital twins, facility or asset data models, IoT telemetry, and edge-to-cloud data flows.
- Preferred experience deploying software, data, or ML pipelines in disconnected, air-gapped, or classified environments.
- Preferred experience with cross-domain data handling constraints, RMF or STIG-aligned delivery, and responsible AI-assisted development practices.
- TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
