Base Salary
$90k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into development tasks and deliver software solutions.
- Design and develop secure, maintainable Java solutions aligned with service architecture.
- Define testing scope, validate functionality, participate in pull requests, and improve code quality.
- Debug application issues, including challenges spanning multiple services.
- Identify dependencies and roadblocks, coordinate implementation, and maintain technical documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers, share technical knowledge, and guide team capability development.
- Use AI-assisted tools and technologies to improve productivity, problem-solving, quality, and automation.
Requirements
- AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience with Java, Spring Framework, React, Python, MongoDB, and Kafka.
- Experience with enterprise development in an Agile environment.
- Experience with an RDBMS such as Oracle or SQL Server.
- Experience with SOAP and/or REST web services.
- Experience with defect tracking software and all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience mentoring coworkers.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a self-organizing team, give and receive feedback, and work independently while asking questions when needed.
