Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize software solutions and applications.
- Analyze and solve software engineering problems using scientific methods.
- Apply software engineering practices across research, design, development, and maintenance.
- Supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
- Operate independently in highly complex environments and take responsibility for a substantial aspect of the company’s activities.
- Balance business, technical, and people objectives while handling difficult and complex situations.
- Contribute significantly to the recruitment and development of people.
- Develop long-term partnerships with clients and apply commercial and negotiating principles when needed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mastery of all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work independently in highly complex environments.
- Ability to exercise original thought and judgment in software engineering.
- Ability to supervise and provide leadership to other software engineers.
- Understanding of business objectives, commercial principles, and negotiating principles.
- Ability to balance technical, business, and people priorities.
