Base Salary
$131k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute front-end and back-end software test cases, including functionality, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate recurring and regression test cases using designated GUI and commercial off-the-shelf tools such as Selenium and Katalon Studio.
- Implement test scripts, evaluate results, and provide feedback through continuous integration and delivery pipelines in commercial cloud environments.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Software Developers to define test approaches and validate User Story Acceptance Criteria.
- Develop and document test case narratives and result sets using JIRA and Confluence.
- Support software performance testing and evaluation using tools such as JMeter.
- Maintain and improve test scripts and cases through DevOps and configuration management practices.
- Review CI job output and code changes to identify the source and impact of software defects.
Requirements
- BS degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
- In-depth experience testing both front-end and back-end applications, developing test data and scripts, and using scripting languages such as Python for automation.
- Knowledge of or direct experience with software performance testing practices.
- Experience creating, authoring, executing, and documenting software test cases and result sets in an Agile environment.
- Significant experience working with commercial cloud platforms such as AWS and DevOps tools in SAFe Agile and DevOps development environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and execute testing that complements software development efforts.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Preferred experience administering MS Windows Server or Linux environments.
- Preferred experience with AWS environments and with reviewing CI jobs, code check-ins, and the effects of code changes on system functionality.
