Responsibilities
- Design and develop distributed storage systems.
- Improve storage system stability, scalability, functionality, and performance according to business requirements.
- Define development goals, write detailed design documents, implement modules, tune performance, and conduct functional testing.
- Provide technical support for online applications and identify system optimization opportunities.
- Continuously optimize distributed storage systems based on operational feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related major.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in program development with at least one of C++, Golang, Java, or Python.
- High proficiency in Linux, multithreading, network programming, and distributed development.
- Strong understanding of storage system principles and practical experience with distributed storage and computing technologies.
- Ability to think independently, proactively identify problems, and apply systematic problem-solving skills.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed storage systems such as HDFS, Ceph, S3, OSS, or EBS is preferred.
- Open-source community contributor or committer experience is preferred.
