Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate scalable self-service platforms and internal developer tooling.
- Build and maintain cloud-native platform solutions using containerisation, orchestration, infrastructure automation, and platform services.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions and enhance CI/CD pipelines for build, test, release, and deployment processes.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, operational efficiency, observability, and developer productivity.
- Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, deployment patterns, policy automation, and governance practices.
- Monitor platform health, availability, and performance across cloud and on-premises environments, including logging, alerting, capacity planning, and resilience engineering.
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, service reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with engineering, operations, security, architecture, SRE, and product teams, and mentor engineers on platform and automation practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience relevant to platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, infrastructure automation, developer experience, security engineering, or platform architecture.
- Ability to design secure, resilient, automated, and scalable platforms and take ownership of their reliability and sustainability.
- Ability to use operational metrics, telemetry, and performance data to guide platform decisions and measure effectiveness.
- Strong problem-solving, systems investigation, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
- Candidates may complete a Codility technical assessment and interviews evaluating technical skills, design thinking, and engineering principles.
