Base Salary
$185k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end, from scoping to iteration based on user feedback.
- Build backend systems that power AI-driven workflows using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Ship LLM-native features, including RAG pipelines and agentic workflows.
- Work on developer-facing surfaces such as VS Code extensions and CLI tooling.
- Improve the reliability and performance of production AI systems at scale.
- Partner directly with founders and early customers to determine future product direction.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building production systems.
- Strong backend fundamentals in Python (or similar), APIs, distributed systems, and databases.
- Experience with LLM in production, including RAG, agents, and prompt pipelines.
- Demonstrated product instinct with the ability to push back on specs and rewrite requirements.
- Startup experience with a focus on setting direction rather than just execution.
