Base Salary
$230k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software features for system resiliency and high availability.
- Develop cloud-based deployment workflows for AI inference software using AWS.
- Create Python-based scripts and APIs for data preprocessing and inference tasks.
- Utilize parallel programming techniques to maximize resource efficiency.
- Develop software components for visualization and analysis of system performance metrics.
- Implement inference software in Docker containers and define Kubernetes strategies.
- Create automated scripts to detect and mitigate software failures.
- Debug issues related to model deployment and container orchestration.
- Triage and resolve defects by analyzing logs and metrics.
- Collaborate with product management to define inference service interfaces.
- Author technical documentation for infrastructure configurations and workflows.
- Document and track defects and enhancements using Jira and Git.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 18 months of experience in a related occupation.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and deployment automation tools.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS compute and serverless services.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing tools.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, and JavaScript.
- Experience with data storage and caching solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems.
