Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and refine the technical direction for Software-Defined Networking.
- Participate in architecture reviews and author design documents for major SDN components.
- Build and optimize Linux kernel modules and high-performance drivers.
- Design and implement network architectures for GPU-to-GPU fabrics and AI clusters.
- Implement and tune virtualization features and integrate advanced networking hardware.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform performance tuning.
- Evaluate emerging SDN technologies and contribute to relevant open-source projects.
- Mentor engineers and promote a culture of engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with software and operations teams to manage architecture designs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in large-scale networking systems, preferably in cloud environments.
- Strong systems programming skills in C, C++, Go, or Rust.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux kernel architecture and device driver development.
- Hands-on experience with high-speed packet processing technologies.
- Familiarity with SmartNICs and accelerators like NVIDIA ConnectX and Intel IPUs.
- Experience with network virtualization and data center fabrics.
- Solid knowledge of SR-IOV and vDPA for debugging control and data planes.
- Proven ability to influence technical decisions through collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
