Base Salary
$251k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable backend application code.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, Product, and Customer Success to define requirements, technical specifications, designs, and success measures.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Recommend new technologies, product improvements, and engineering practices.
- Implement automated testing and continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines for reliable software releases.
- Engage with customers and contribute product and technical perspectives.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, Node.js, messaging queues such as AWS SQS, and MongoDB.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with large-scale data systems and modern web technologies.
- Full Stack knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Python, Django, FastAPI, or Flask is nice to have.
- Familiarity with Airflow, PostgreSQL, and NestJS is nice to have.
- Experience in AI is preferred.
- Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
