Base Salary
$251k - $310k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with onboard and research engineers to expand simulation capabilities and achieve Waymo milestones.
- Monitor and improve the reproducibility, reliability, and usability of the Waymo simulator.
- Design long-term architectures for increasing internal customers and product requirements.
- Bridge vehicle subsystems and simulation infrastructure to improve robotic realism.
- Integrate components from Simulator, Eval, Hardware, and Onboard organizations into reliable, reproducible simulation solutions.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building a popular internal or external-facing product.
- Backend knowledge including workflows, databases, SQL, debugging, and production monitoring.
- At least 6 years of software development experience.
- Strong C++ background.
