Base Salary
$165k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic methods and principles to improve product and service stability and efficiency.
- Lead and influence multiple teams and initiatives while setting product direction and owning large components.
- Design, code, debug, maintain, upgrade, and improve software performance.
- Provide technical leadership for projects involving 3–4 individuals and mentor other engineers.
- Investigate software-related complaints and make adjustments to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with testing teams on performance test plans and cases.
- Research product information and support development of specifications and requirements.
- Recommend technologies that improve engineering productivity and contribute to company-wide technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java-based development projects using RESTful APIs and Spring Boot.
- High technical competence, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong documentation ability.
- Proven experience with high-level programming languages such as Java and with complex web systems.
- Proven experience with software development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical or business field is preferred.
- Expertise running web services at scale is preferred.
