Responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, technical design, feasibility analysis, and creation of high-quality design artifacts.
- Develop and support SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions including workflows, RAP reports, interfaces, enhancements, custom reports, dialog programs, and custom objects.
- Create and monitor interfaces using SAP AIF, APIs, OData, IDocs, DRF, RFC, and service providers or consumers.
- Customize Fiori apps and develop Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, scripts, reports, and user enhancements.
- Analyze and improve performance using ABAP runtime analysis, SQL Trace, system dump analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning tools.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- Support clients through technical problem resolution and capacity planning.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP and recent releases.
- Experience with Eclipse and ADLC tools.
- Experience with ABAP S/4HANA technologies including Workflows, AMDP, CDS, BRF+, and BOPF.
- Knowledge of REST API, SOAP API, OData, SAP AIF, in-app extensibility, and Adobe Forms.
- Experience creating interfaces and reports with RAP, monitoring AIF, working with service providers and consumers, using SRT_UTIL, and handling inbound and outbound IDocs, IDoc extensions, and DRF.
- Extensive ABAP/4 experience with ALV, interactive and classical reports, OSS Notes, Smart Forms, Menu Painter, user exits, BAdIs, RFC, dialog programming, and the SAP Data Dictionary.
- Expertise in ABAP/4 planning, design, development, implementation, and testing for scripts, custom reports, user enhancements, dialog programming, and custom objects such as Z-tables and match codes.
- Knowledge of Fiori app customization and ABAP runtime analysis, SQL Trace, and system dump analysis.
- Life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
- Multilingual proficiency is preferred; English proficiency is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, customer orientation, initiative, flexibility, and quality awareness.
