Responsibilities
- Review and validate requirements, identify coverage gaps and risks, and maintain requirements traceability.
- Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, schedules, environments, and test data.
- Execute functional, regression, acceptance, performance, load, and stress testing.
- Manage defect logging and tracking, analyze defects, and coordinate resolution with Development teams.
- Convert manual test cases into automated tests using appropriate automation frameworks.
- Develop and analyze scripts for application and platform quality metrics.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Product Management, Sales, Support, customers, and vendors to validate solutions.
- Provide testing and sizing support for prospective customers using ACI-supported hardware platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in software testing.
- At least 3 years of Quality Engineering and/or systems testing experience.
- Experience with test automation and/or software development.
- Understanding of platform and operating system architecture.
- Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Knowledge of defect analysis, regression testing, and end-to-end solution testing.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, product, customers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with test management and defect management tools is preferred.
- Relevant software quality/testing certification and experience with automated testing frameworks are preferred.
