Responsibilities
- Develop NLP and machine learning models for information search, recommendation, and data extraction within legal documents, especially in Spanish.
- Maintain and monitor machine learning models in production.
- Design conversational agents that provide accurate answers and streamline legal drafting tasks.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and product designers to identify product opportunities.
- Contribute to internal best practices, engineering strategy, Data Science chapter projects, and recruitment activities.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of classical and deep learning for data extraction and recommendation, ideally with initial experience using large language models.
- Experience with natural-language search engines and inverted indexes such as Elasticsearch.
- Solid Python development skills focused on algorithm design.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and motivation to bring scientific advances into production.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Prior legal-sector experience is not required, but willingness to build expertise in legal documents is essential.
