Base Salary
$60k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support enterprise-grade software using Java and modern web technologies.
- Build scalable backend services with Spring Boot and integrate applications with internal, external, and third-party APIs.
- Develop responsive web interfaces with Angular, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database solutions.
- Develop and maintain native iOS and/or Android mobile applications using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and/or Java.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization, optimize mobile performance and reliability, and support Apple App Store and Google Play Store releases.
- Participate in architecture, design reviews, technical planning, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD development, and deployment automation.
- Support cloud-native and containerized environments, monitor application performance and security, and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX designers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers, and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience and at least 3 years of Java enterprise application development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, SQL databases, Git, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Experience developing mobile applications for iOS, Android, or both platforms.
- Experience with Java 11 or newer, including Java 17 or newer, and enterprise application development.
- Preferred experience includes both Android and iOS native development, React Native, Flutter, .NET MAUI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD tools, mobile security, encryption, secure coding, and regulated financial environments.
- Ability to contribute to architecture and technical leadership discussions, troubleshoot technical issues, communicate effectively, work independently and collaboratively, and mentor junior developers.
