Base Salary
$158k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, prototype, and deliver production-quality distributed systems for the Rubrik Atlas platform.
- Define architectural principles and guide multiple teams in building on top of Atlas.
- Build cloud storage-backed filesystems, performance-optimized data formats, deduplication and compression capabilities, and scalable data protection features.
- Develop reliability, resiliency, performance tooling using eBPF, asynchronous programming, read-ahead techniques, snapshotting, data integrity, security, and cloud immutability functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience with distributed file systems.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
- Experience building systems at scale and in backend development.
- Hands-on coding skills in C++.
- Preferred: experience with storage solutions or data protection.
- Preferred: experience with public cloud features and costs across compute, storage, networking, and data services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
