Base Salary
$117k - $345k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship production-grade software using AI-assisted development workflows.
- Design and orchestrate systems in which AI agents integrate with human workflows.
- Architect and maintain resilient backend services integrating Large Language Models through external APIs.
- Implement observability using logs, metrics, and traces for long-running AI jobs.
- Evaluate human- and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
- Develop test automation and quality tooling, including unit and CI test generation, test-failure analysis, and flake awareness.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional Java development experience.
- Demonstrated AI-first engineering approach and experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor in active development workflows.
- Ability to design, iterate on, and test system and user prompts that produce structured, parseable LLM outputs.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with AWS services including S3, STS, KMS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with Bazel or Maven and willingness to work in a monorepo.
- Experience with Jenkins or an equivalent CI/CD pipeline, Docker image creation, and container operations.
- TypeScript with Node and/or Python service development is a strong plus.
