Responsibilities
- Plan, support, customize, and further develop the Manufacturing Execution System, including managing installations on container infrastructure.
- Define, document, and track requirements with suppliers and translate user needs into features, user stories, and tasks in Azure DevOps.
- Configure and customize MES processes, create master data, and prepare process concepts for user-level presentation and explanation.
- Lead MES commissioning and technical implementation, including acceptance test creation, execution, approval, and ramp-up support.
- Coordinate with template teams, local teams, the BMI team, suppliers, MES partners, and other stakeholders.
- Provide second-level support for template functions.
- For a more senior position level, manage large-scale, complex, or significant engineering projects from start to finish.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in MES system development and support across multi-tier UI, middleware, services, and database architecture.
- Strong hands-on skills in C#, Angular, MS SQL database development, low-code development platforms, and SQL scripting.
- Experience integrating ERP or other enterprise systems using REST APIs.
- Strong reporting development skills using SSRS or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience managing the software development lifecycle with Azure DevOps, including work item tracking, Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with ClickHouse and Stimulsoft reporting is an added advantage.
