Responsibilities
- Define and review functional and technical requirements with clients and project stakeholders.
- Configure, tune, test, and support the Charles River Investment Management Solution after go-live.
- Develop, test, and correct inbound and outbound interfaces using Java, C#, ETL, XML, messaging, and database technologies.
- Troubleshoot application issues and determine optimal technical solutions with support and product teams.
- Lead and manage multiple technical initiatives and implementation or support projects.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, team members, and customer staff.
- Serve as a technical expert while managing customer expectations and gathering financial-sector requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of hands-on financial-industry experience with a consultancy or software vendor; 5+ years of progressively responsible financial or software services experience is preferred.
- Experience with Java and C# programming, Windows and Unix/Linux, ETL tools such as Kettle and Talend, XML/XSLT, Tomcat, SOAP/XML messaging, and relational databases.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server and familiarity with source-control management tools such as Perforce.
- Experience with financial services, OMS implementation, system integration, methodology-based solution delivery, or customer-facing consulting is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Azure and Snowflake is preferred.
- BA/BS in business or a technical field such as Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organization, multitasking, and independent-working skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and travel to client sites in the United States and Canada.
