Base Salary

$119k - $198k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise engineering initiatives that improve developer experience and accelerate software delivery.
  • Define DevOps strategies, technical standards, deployment processes, reusable interfaces, automation frameworks, and multi-year technology roadmaps.
  • Design, implement, automate, deploy, and support enterprise CI/CD solutions and cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Drive operational excellence for connected services supporting continuous 24x7x365 operations.
  • Promote and scale DevOps practices across product engineering teams, including Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, Blue-Green deployments, and Canary deployments.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Platform Engineering, Quality Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and Change & Release Management teams.
  • Evaluate industry trends, use data to prioritize platform enhancements, and improve developer productivity and platform capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership, stakeholder partnership, problem-solving, and team coaching.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Software Development Lifecycle experience across multiple technology disciplines, including at least 5 years of hands-on enterprise CI/CD experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience automating, deploying, and managing cloud-based applications and infrastructure in AWS.
  • 2+ years of experience with container orchestration platforms such as Amazon EKS or Red Hat OpenShift.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience implementing and supporting feature flag strategies and Blue-Green deployment architectures in enterprise environments.
  • Experience across CI/CD, container orchestration, configuration management, infrastructure automation, monitoring and observability, and security and compliance.
  • Knowledge of basic .NET, Angular, and Python development and deployment constructs, plus troubleshooting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Understanding of API design principles, platform design versus application design, modern API tooling, dynamic global configurations, and environment variables.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, Everything-as-Code, branching strategies, Blue-Green deployments, and Canary deployments.
  • Preferred experience administering GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, Octopus Deploy, AWS services, testing automation tools, and security and vulnerability management tools.
  • Preferred experience applying Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI capabilities within DevOps toolchains and engineering workflows.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, communication, collaboration, adaptability, stakeholder management, and team coaching capabilities.
