Base Salary
$53k - $108k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack software and end-to-end solutions from vision through production readiness.
- Build applications using Java, C++, and JavaScript.
- Identify system improvements and account for current architecture, operating environments, and future enhancements.
- Create technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
- Learn new tools and techniques and develop skills beyond software development.
Requirements
- Experience using version control software such as GitLab or GitHub.
- Experience building applications in Java, C++, and/or JavaScript.
- Experience solving complex problems in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Ability to create technical documentation and learn skills outside software development.
- Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering by Summer 2028.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
- Preferred: experience working with or in the DOW, knowledge of Agile methodologies, knowledge of model and simulation technologies, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
