Responsibilities
- Build security protections into systems to ensure a secure by default posture.
- Participate in design reviews and threat modeling sessions with engineering teams.
- Oversee and drive compliance rituals associated with HIPAA, SOC2, SOC1, PCI, and HITRUST.
- Regularly audit platforms and tech stack for vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with vendors for penetration testing and security services.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in the security domain with hands-on project involvement.
- Strong knowledge of security compliance rituals and routines.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and handling sensitive information.
- Ability to adapt and engage with security challenges at various levels.
- Proficiency in coding to automate security processes and audit systems.
