Base Salary
$240k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship services supporting custody, transfers, stablecoin issuance, and compliance workflows.
- Own a service or product capability and improve its production readiness, reliability, and developer ergonomics.
- Lead medium-scope projects such as API updates, partner integrations, refactors, and critical-path improvements.
- Improve logging, tracing, alerts, failure handling, dashboards, tests, runbooks, and observability.
- Lead cross-service initiatives including API versioning, data model migrations, and compliance-driven workflow changes.
- Design stable APIs and idempotent transfer workflows with strong audit trails.
- Harden sensitive key operations using hardware-backed isolation and robust key policies.
- Collaborate with product managers, compliance teams, engineers, banking partners, and crypto infrastructure providers.
- Shape technical direction through design documents and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Ability to take ownership of services and capabilities through production readiness.
- Ability to lead medium-scope projects such as API contract updates, partner integrations, and critical-path robustness improvements.
- Ability to lead cross-service initiatives, shape technical direction through design documents, and mentor other engineers.
- Ability to balance product velocity, reliability, security, and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
- Experience or capability working with service architecture, observability, testing, production deployments, and engineering conventions is expected from the described work.
- Familiarity with APIs, high-throughput job flows, audit trails, database performance, caching, backpressure, and integrations with banking or crypto infrastructure providers is relevant to the role.
