Base Salary
$60k - $94k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Web, and Spring Batch.
- Develop and enhance microservices-based applications and distributed systems.
- Design and implement integrations using Kafka and other messaging technologies.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing software.
- Participate in code reviews and improve application quality, performance, and engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, integrations, and development processes.
- Use approved AI-assisted development tools for development, testing, debugging, documentation, and productivity improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java technologies.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Web, and Spring Batch.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Experience with Kafka or comparable messaging and event-streaming platforms.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design patterns.
- Experience using Git and modern software development lifecycle practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, AWS or other cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing frameworks, and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Preferred experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar coding assistants.
