Base Salary
$160k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance SaaS services and web front ends.
- Own features end to end, from requirements analysis and solution design through deployment and production support.
- Build enterprise web platforms and distributed services with high reliability, low latency, and clear SLA boundaries.
- Implement component-level automated testing and collaborate with SDETs on testing practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, perform initial incident triage, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Research technologies and solutions to improve existing products and explore new directions.
- Work on identity verification, passwordless authentication, authentication servers, and application management and analytics products.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency with Java SE 17+ and Spring.
- Experience with Kubernetes or another container orchestration platform and cloud-first development using AWS, Azure, or a similar cloud.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL storage, such as MySQL, Oracle, Dynamo, or Redis.
- Strong understanding of data structures, clean code, modularity, and design patterns.
- Experience designing and scaling distributed services with high reliability and low latency.
- Experience with complex authentication or identity flows involving multiple services.
- Full-stack experience with React or a similar modern frontend framework.
- Knowledge of unit, integration, and other testing methodologies.
- Preferred experience or interest in identity verification, OAuth, WebAuthn, PKI, computer vision, liveness detection, or ML-assisted verification workflows.
- Preferred experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Helm, or AWS CloudFormation.
- 8+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining enterprise web-based platforms serving more than 100,000 users.
- BS/MS in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
