Base Salary
$130k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and architect maintainable, scalable software systems.
- Build backend features using Python and Django.
- Own stack reliability through sophisticated automated testing.
- Lead code reviews and resolve complex technical bottlenecks.
- Partner across teams to deliver product features and technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering excellence.
- Use AI-assisted development to accelerate the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Deep proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience designing, building, and delivering scalable technical solutions end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and infrastructure automation such as Terraform or CDK.
- Advanced SQL skills and extensive experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience building and deploying application containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with code reviews, pull request workflows, and version control using tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrated success mentoring junior developers and driving technical alignment.
- Strong initiative, accountability, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional partnership skills.
