Base Salary
$320k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure for accessible self-serve onboarding and verification systems across global markets.
- Translate the needs of underserved communities into scalable technical and product solutions.
- Build flexible pricing, billing, and provisioning systems for resource-constrained organizations.
- Develop MCP integrations connecting Claude with tools used by nonprofits, educators, healthcare workers, and researchers.
- Develop multilingual and accessibility capabilities across platforms.
- Build systems to measure and demonstrate social impact at scale.
- Partner with product, partnerships, and field teams to prototype and validate solutions with communities.
- Ensure reliability and performance for mission-critical humanitarian and social-impact deployments.
Requirements
- 6+ years of practical experience as a full-stack software engineer.
- Experience building consumer or enterprise products prioritizing accessibility, inclusivity, or underserved populations.
- Technical expertise in identity management, billing systems, self-serve onboarding flows, or API integrations.
- Ability to ship products quickly while maintaining quality for diverse user needs.
- Strong commitment to technology for social good and meaningful impact.
- Strong collaboration skills with product, partnerships, and field teams.
- Experience with international markets, multilingual products, or accessibility features is valuable.
- Background in nonprofit technology, social-impact startups, or mission-driven organizations is valuable.
- Experience with AI/ML products and LLM applications is valuable.
- Familiarity with resource-constrained environments or emerging markets is valuable.
- Understanding of compliance requirements in regulated sectors is valuable.
- Startup experience, particularly scaling products from zero to one, is valuable.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
Benefits
- Annual compensation range is $320,000—$405,000 USD.
- Staff are generally expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time under the location-based hybrid policy.
