Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, scale, deliver, and lead an automated application evaluation framework for Android XR AppCompat.
- Build application crawlers using computer vision and LLMs to evaluate XR applications.
- Develop AI vision models that detect spatial layout issues, rendering distortions, overlapping UI elements, and input collisions.
- Create automated regression detectors to verify compatibility overrides without introducing new regressions.
- Architect and implement a unified automated application runner.
- Build scalable application execution frameworks for physical devices, emulators, and cloud-hosted environments.
- Partner with Android and Android XR platform teams to improve application experiences in XR.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Go, Java, Python, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, JavaScript, or Kotlin.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of algorithm complexity.
- Strong software and systems troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000 - $252000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Canada base salary of $182000 - $186000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
