Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
- Take full-stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code.
- Create scalable, reliable, and high-performing technical designs that follow architectural best practices.
- Analyze failures, propose design changes, and drive operational improvements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices and development procedures.
- Ensure product development follows compliance and security best practices.
- Apply software reliability engineering standards within development practices.
- Collaborate across product teams and communicate blockers, priorities, processes, and results.
- Mentor and support junior engineers while contributing to technology transformation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of ten years of experience.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns, and best practices.
- Technical proficiency in defining and fulfilling solutions for end users.
- Technical leadership, problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, product owners, scrum masters, third-party vendors, and customers.
- Preferred experience with software development lifecycle practices and DevOps principles.
- Preferred ability to mentor junior engineers and understand how technical strategy supports business objectives.
