Base Salary
$170k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build multimodal sensor fusion architectures and spatial-temporal representation learners for object detection and tracking, occupancy, semantic segmentation, and road understanding.
- Develop scalable methods and recipes for large-data and large-model training on Alphabet’s compute infrastructure, including pre-training and post-training.
- Develop distributed fine-tuning methods that enable multiple developers to improve models simultaneously and prevent regression against production systems.
- Develop and maintain model evaluation recipes and metrics for improving pre-trained and fine-tuned model performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline, or an equivalent amount of deep learning experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in machine learning and/or computer vision.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Preferred: Publications at top-tier conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, ICML, ICRA, IROS, RSS, NeurIPS, AAAI, IJCV, or PAMI.
- Preferred: Experience with C++.
