Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize on-device and hybrid multimodal models for XR devices while meeting power, latency, performance, and robustness constraints.
- Create evaluation plans covering dataset development, KPIs, model accuracy, and on-device efficiency.
- Implement and ship modeling innovations involving hybrid agent architectures, edge-cloud orchestration, multimodality, tool integrations, and personalization.
- Prototype and iteratively develop on-device AI features in partnership with XR product teams.
- Collaborate with research scientists, engineers, and product teams to shape the technical roadmap, publish findings, and support product launches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML specialization.
- At least 1 year of experience with ML frameworks such as JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with multimodal learning, large language models, AI agents, prompt engineering, few-shot learning, post-training techniques, evaluations, and on-device model training and deployment.
Benefits
- US base salary is $147000-$210000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
