Responsibilities
- Plan, deploy, monitor, maintain, and optimize AWS and Alibaba Cloud infrastructure and services.
- Design highly available and auto-scaling hybrid cloud architectures across networking, storage, and compute resources.
- Implement monitoring and alerting, lead critical incident response, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Optimize cloud spending through reserved instances, auto-scaling, storage lifecycle policies, and resource quota management.
- Implement cloud security baselines, access controls, security audits, vulnerability remediation, and database auditing.
- Collaborate with development teams on cloud-native application architectures and lead operational training and documentation.
- Lead and collaborate with operations, development, testing, and security teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of operations experience, including at least 3 years focused on public cloud environments and management of 100+ instances.
- Mastery of core compute, storage, networking, and security services on AWS or Alibaba Cloud, with familiarity with the other platform.
- Proficiency in Linux or Windows operations and automation using Shell, Python, or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes and cloud container platforms including ECS, EKS, or ACK, plus cloud-native technologies such as service mesh.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong team management and communication skills.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Alibaba Cloud ACP/ACE certification is preferred.
- Experience building cloud platforms from scratch, designing hybrid cloud architectures, or executing large-scale migrations is preferred.
- Familiarity with Azure, multi-cloud management platforms, FinOps, WAF, DDoS protection, and big data or AI operations is preferred.
